MSW – Registered Clinical Social Worker
Are you struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, loneliness and or unworthiness? Are you feeling stuck? Do you struggle with regulating your mood and managing your emotions? Do you have difficulties maintaining healthy relationships? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I would love to help you learn different coping strategies to manage your stressors!
My name is Vanessa Germain. I am a Registered Licensed Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI) in the state of Florida. I received my MSW from Barry University and a BSW from Florida Atlantic University.
I have been doing clinical work for 9 years. I enjoy working with several different groups of people, including children, adults, and the elderly. My work is dedicated to helping others overcome significant life challenges in their path, such as relationship struggles, ADHD, family conflict, grief, divorce, separation, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I like to use a client-centered, solution-focused, and supportive approach to counseling. It is important for me to meet the client where they are in their journey.
In my years of experience, I have worked with people in a variety of settings, including hospital and outpatient centers, home health, school district, community mental health, and private practice. It can be a very difficult decision to reach out for help, and I am glad that you took that first step! In my experience, the most important key to therapy is a good client/therapist relationship. I work to provide a good therapeutic relationship by providing an environment that is non-judgmental, empathetic and caring in which we can address your needs collaboratively. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and travelingand practicing self-care activities to help create and maintain a positive sense of being! I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and help you create the life you want, from the inside out. A better you!
